PCB’s
Polychlorinated biphenyls’ (PCB’s) have historically been used in many industrial sealants, paint adhesives, lubricants and coolants, calking compounds, and most notably in lamp ballasts and electrical transformers. Post 1977, a North American wide ban has been placed on the use of all PCB’s due to human health related risks. Stringent standards now govern the handling, storage and disposal of PCB containing materials. Inflector Environmental Services offers specialized services to safely remove, handle and dispose of PCB’s.
