Jeffrey Clarke Sr. founded Inflector in 1994 as a division of JR Clarke & Associates. Working for the company since he was 16 years old, Jeffrey W. Clarke Jr. succeeded his father as CEO of Inflector in 2014.
We work with everyone.
Our highly trained team of professionals have the depth of knowledge and experience to work with projects and clients ranging from homeowners and developers on residential projects to complex commercial and industrial projects such as hospitals and nuclear plants. Whatever the project, whoever the client, we have the ability and know-how to get the job done.
We are highly experienced.
Some of our superintendents have been with Inflector since the very beginning and have spearheaded the growth of the industry while our on-site teams are experienced collaborators and problem solvers with experience working on hundreds of projects in Eastern Ontario and Quebec.
In Québec, anyone who carries out construction work must be licensed by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). Inflector has an RBQ license: 8320-1350-30

Jeffrey Clarke is President and Chief Executive Officer at Inflector Environmental Services. In his role, Jeff is responsible for developing and implementing high-level strategies, leading and building overall client relationships and operations nationally.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with disciplines in Finance and Management which he has leveraged throughout his career in the environmental contracting industry. He has an extensive range of experience spanning business strategy, operations leadership, and project management.
Jeff is a member of the Young Presidents Organization; at the age of 24 he was a recipient of Ottawa’s Top 40 Under 40. Jeff also sits on the board of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation and is involved with several charitable organizations such as Fight for the Cure, Christie Lake Kids, Golf for Kids, and The Ottawa Hospital President’s Breakfast to name a few.

Mickelene Crawford is the Vice President Finance for Inflector Environmental Services. In this role she is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial processes including accounting, financial planning, and analysis, as well as corporate development and corporate strategy, and utilizes her extensive experience in project costing.
With more than 25 years of financial experience, Mickelene has held management positions with companies in the service, engineering, architecture, and manufacturing industries as well as financial roles in the pharmaceutical and recreation industries.
Before moving to Inflector, Mickelene spent five years in public accounting with KPMG in Ottawa. Mickelene holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) / Certified General Accountant (CGA) Designation.

David Walsh

David Walsh is the Chief Operating Officer of Inflector Environmental Services and is responsible for the execution of all aspects of the organization’s hazmat operations nationwide.
David brings 30+ years in the construction industry having overseen more than 10,000+ project including the largest single asbestos abatement project awarded in Canada, being the R.L. Hearn Thermal Generation Station in Toronto.
David has international experience running multi-million-dollar projects. He holds numerous certifications in hazardous material handling and project management.

Troy Gaudet

Troy recently assumed the role as Executive Vice President for Inflector Environmental Services and is based in our Ottawa office. He is responsible for the management of operations within Canada, including pursuits and procurement on large and special projects.
Troy brings 25 years of experience in the construction industry with an expertise in corporate leadership and strategy, as well as, day to day operational management. Skilled at playing a major role in growing a company’s market share and developing strong relationships through trust and creditability.
He attended school at Algonquin College in Ottawa, and George Brown College in Toronto. Troy has a diploma with the skilled trades as well in project management. He is also accredited with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a member of the Project Management institute and their local Ottawa Valley Chapter. To give back to the industry and community, Troy has served as a board director for the Ottawa General Contractor Association, and has coached local minor hockey teams.

Richard McLean is Vice President Estimating for Inflector Environmental Services. Richard has the overall responsibility for preconstruction and procurement, on large scale projects, nationwide.
Richard has 20+ years of national and international experience in residential/commercial environmental services and reconstruction industries. He has exceptional leadership skills and is adept in establishing rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Richard holds a law degree from the University of East London as well as numerous certificates in hazardous material handling and project management.

Mike Simmons is the Vice President Operations for Inflector Environmental Services. Mike is responsible for the preparation and execution of field operations for the Ottawa and Kingston offices and works closely with our Toronto office on large and special projects. Mike has a successful record as an Operations Manager, Foreman, and Superintendent in the construction services industry with specific expertise in the demolition and abatement field.
Mike brings 18 plus years of experience to his role at Inflector having overseen several high-level, high stress projects within Ontario. During his career, Mike has overseen 3000+ projects including Western University Hospital, London; Chattem Kent General Hospital; Health Science North Hospital, Sudbury; Bank of Canada and GCC the Senate of Canada Building, Ottawa; Glencore Thayer Lindsey Mine; Marathon Pulp & Papermill; Iroquois Falls Pulp & Papermill; Glencore Smelter Acid Plant, Sudbury.
Mike’s strengths are his ability to build successful teams, build strong relationships, and successfully manage projects.

Chad Marinoff is the Controller for Inflector Environmental Services. Chad manages all accounting aspects of the Company and ensures compliance with regulatory filings, performs analyses of financial statements, financial planning, and oversees the Finance team’s operations.
Chad has gained extensive experience in a variety of industries, while working as a public accountant at KPMG LLP prior to joining Inflector. Chad holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) / Certified General Accountant (CGA) Designation.
Chad is the founder of the Red Cup Challenge which was established in 2017 to support local mental health initiatives.

Marc Chauvin

Marc Chauvin is the Western Quebec District Manager for Inflector Environmental Services. Marc oversees large scale projects including Commercial, Industrial, Health Care, Sports & Entertainment, Transit & Infrastructure and Residential.
Marc has over 25 years extensive experience in the construction industry in both Public and Private sectors. His strengths are in estimating and project management for general construction including; civil, structural, architectural and design build projects with both conventional and pre-engineered systems. Marc also has extensive knowledge in scheduling, management and field coordination. Marc is an innovative problem solver who enjoys the challenges of complex projects. His determination and fortitude ensures each project is completed on time and on budget.
Marc is accredited with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a member of the Project Management Institute.

Ken Bisson is the Director of Occupational Health and Safety for Inflector Environmental Services. Ken has over 40 years of work experience ranging from mining to environmental consulting, radiation, industrial hygiene and workplace safety.
In 1990 Ken became an environmental consultant working on asbestos, lead, mold, PCBs, NORM, radon gas testing, radon mitigation, specialized clean ups. Ken has worked as a consultant in many parts of Canada as well as in the United States & the United Arab Emirates. Ken was instrumental in achieving COR (Certificate of Recognition) accreditation in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Ken has National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) accreditation and is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians.

Ron Amaral is the Operations Manager for the Greater Toronto Area for Inflector Environmental Services. Ron is directly responsible for all operations of our Toronto Division. Ron has a successful record as an Operations Manager in the construction services industry with specific expertise in asbestos abatement and hazmat services.
Ron brings 30 years of extensive experience to his role at Inflector having overseen projects within Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Since 1989, Ron has overseen 8000+ projects including Prince George Hospital – Prince George, BC; Petro Canada Refinery – Port Moody, BC; Calgary Eaton Centre – Calgary Alberta; Bridgeport Hospital – Toronto, ON. He has acted in the capacity of Estimator, Operations Manager, site supervisor, and project manager on numerous projects from coast to coast. Ron has been involved in all aspects of projects working with clients on scheduling and reducing impact on their projects.

Tony Sottile is the Senior Advisor to Inflector Environmental Services. Tony works with the executive team to plan and execute a growth strategy for the company. He also assists in planning and implementing internal processes that position Inflector for successful project execution.
Tony Sottile is a Professional Engineer who has worked in the mechanical contracting industry since 1984. He joined Modern Mechanical in 1990, the founding organization of the Modern Niagara Group, became a partner in 1993. Tony was CEO from 2004 through to 2016 and oversaw a substantial period of growth. Tony has experience in various commercial and institutional construction sectors such as health care, data centers, commercial buildings, education and laboratories.
Tony has served as the Chairman of the Ottawa Construction Association (OCA), as well as Chairman of the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Ottawa and the Canadian Mechanical Contractors Education Foundation (CMCEF). He is a governor of The Ottawa Hospital and sits on various private sector boards.

Robb brings extensive experience to his role at Inflector. Since 1986, he has overseen 3000+ projects including Vancouver International Airport (1990), Hern Generating Station (1991) and Imperial Oil Dartmouth Refinery (2015). Robb progressively held positions in the field, management and to his current position as Vice President.

Robert Hagerman is the Vice- President and Area Manager for Kingston and Southern Ontario for Inflector Environmental Services. Rob oversees the operations and manages all aspects of environmental contracting for this region including abatement, demolition and emergency response contamination clean up.
Rob brings managerial leadership with 15 years knowledge and experience to this role in the construction industry. He has overseen thousands of projects in various sectors including industrial, commercial, institutional as well as residential projects. Rob brings an aptitude for tender estimating, project management and successful completion on schedule and budget.
Rob thrives on demanding and challenging tasks and brings out the best in others for the benefit of the team. He approaches all projects with a strong strategic focus with an emphasis on maintaining a clear path towards achieving project goals.

Dan Chisholm is the Operations Manager for Inflector Environmental Services in Atlantic Canada. Dan is responsible for the successful planning and execution of Atlantic Canada’s field operations and is involved in all aspects of the business life cycle including estimating, project execution, and business development.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Construction Management diploma, which have facilitated his ability to stay current with the ever-evolving construction industry and environmental contracting.
Over the past six years, Dan has successfully executed construction projects with Canada’s largest general contractor in both field and management roles, working in industry sectors such as sport stadiums, airports, hospitals, manufacturing, and commercial spaces. Dan’s positive attitude and knowledge allow him to bring solutions-based leadership to the Inflector team.

Kevin is Vice President & Area Manager Alberta for Inflector Environmental Services. Kevin is directly responsible for all operations of our Alberta Division.
Kevin brings extensive experience in asbestos, mercury, PCBs, mould, infectious disease, biohazards, oil and chemical spills in an emergency response role with an emphasis in the oil & gas, mining, and industrial sectors.
Prior to working in the environmental industry Kevin worked for major construction groups in industrial commercial construction, airports, bridges, hydro electric dams, mines, hospitals, and various other commercial projects. Kevin also has extensive construction experience which has transferred into an innovative approach to completing projects introducing new methodologies and equipment.
